I purchased an Athlon 64 3000+ is it angelic?

newegg.com has those on Dutch auction for 29.00 w/ free shipping...if you paid more than that you get ripped...

in comparison to the 2x column from AMD and the duo's this thing is a dog...

everyone else is right, AMD's own low Ghz speed than Intel but are much faster clock for clock. For year's and years AMD has be saying that it's not almost how fast your processor spins ( contained by Ghz) it's all just about how much work it does in equal amount of time. Oddly enought, intel just attached the band lorry with the core duo's which enjoy lower Ghz speed, higher Fsb and do more work, faster at lower Ghz speeds...they only did what AMD has be doing for years but better, faster and cheaper...

cheers...
Your Athlon is approximately the same average speed contained by reality because of the difference contained by the way AMD and Intel work as a broad rule AMD had a bigger on the ship cashe and Intel is smaller which means AMD have to make a smaller amount trips to the RAM memory than the Intel with the smaller primary cache
Not true. Yours is faster.

The true clock speed of the AMD is 1.8GHZ. The 3000+ moniker, is wise saying it is virtually as fast, or faster, than an Intel 3GHZ CPU.

AMD CPUs do more per clock cycle than Intel CPUs.

I play WOW and it runs slow on my comp, i gather round adjectives system reqs but RAM, will more RAM construct it be in motion faster?

I play WOW and it runs slow on my comp, i gather round adjectives system reqs but RAM, will more RAM construct it be in motion faster?

ok you can just buy a stick. run into comes in pairs

you call for to buy 2 x 512mb=1gb or 2 x 1gb=2gb. since it is so inexpensive i owuld play about 100-150$ and win 2gb of ram. this will engender your computer THAT much faster. i did this too with warcraft and presently my computer kicks ***. jump find products at newegg.com

to find the correct type of ram for your computer travel to :http://www.crucial.com/

good luck next to wow
Should do
Yeah, the RAM should make it closely faster.
Oh yeah
More RAM will make the activity faster, and more memory for the graphic card will spawn it faster too.

If you have a virtuous graphic card, 512 MB RAM will be enought to run WoW smoothly.
yeah you probably should, you necessitate to meet adjectives the system requirements and even go above them so that WoW will run economically

I singular received one answer which is not right. I hold plenty of knotty drivr space and memory.?

Cannot burn to figurine file within Nero 7, message says not adequate space to burn image. I own 3.16GB free hard drive space on 0ne drive and 113GB on the other. I enjoy an ext. h. d. which is connected to a usb port. When i use this drive to burn it runs very slow. Can anyone please help out?

I singular received one answer which is not right. I hold plenty of knotty drivr space and memory.?

if the drive with 3.16gb of free space is drive c you may still inevitability to increase it regardless of how much free space other drives have
found a patch that comes from Ahead to fix the bug contained by Nero 60015, where you can't over burn Basically what the patch does is replace the nero.exe next to a new one (no reworked copy change) - and it really works !

The strange thing is that I can't find the patch on Ahead's site.

draw from it from here http://www.geocities.com/eran3103/nero6p...
It could be that you need more RAM memory and not unyielding drive space. You can start by killing some of the programs that are currently running on your computer to free up some more space. Make sure that you restrain the number of programs which are running at the same time. So I would recommend upgrading your processor and motherboard. The elder computers generally come with the showing minimum to run the newer operating systems.
Maybe Nero 7 requires more hard drive space than 3.16 GB. Try putting your superfluous hard drive surrounded by your computer but don't forget an extra IDE connector and an extra power plug inside your computer. Or maybe try updating your USB port to USB 2.0.
Okay, I know it's stupid, but maybe the image is of a dvd and your are trying to burn it to a regular cd? If so, it won't work.

I inevitability to upgrade my video card?

I enjoy a Dell Dimension 4550 desktop with a 64 MB nVidia GeForce MX 420 video card, the slot where on earth the monitor looks like this: http://dsnimg.dell.com/images/external/i... (which I guess ability it's not integrated, though I thought it was). So what I'm looking to get is a 256 mb lacking breaking the bank; connotation <$200. Thanks for answering in mortgage!!

I inevitability to upgrade my video card?

Looks like it one and only supports the AGP platform, so that limits your choices.

According to one article, the best choices for ~$120 are the Radeon X1650 PRO and GeForce 7600 GS. The article say to make sure you grasp the GDDR3 version of the ATI Radeon card, though.
Looks Like AGP to me as very well, but there is no process you should go for a GS card get hold of a GT like this.

GT's are rite, GS's are budget.

I obligation to upgrade my video card, and I am not sure what to replace it near?

I currently enjoy an Nvidia Geforce 6100 and I want o upgrade to a better quality video card. Any input would be awesome since I own no clue what I am doing.

I obligation to upgrade my video card, and I am not sure what to replace it near?

That depends on your budget. If you want the best Nvidia video card go for the DirectX 10 GeForce 8800GTX or Ultra. If you can't afford that much and still want to capture a directx 10 video card you can try the lower end cards of the Geforce 8 series approaching the 8500 or 8600. If that's still too much you can get the dirextx 9 card contained by the Geforce 7 series.
This is a very broad grill. It all depends on your budget and what games you want to play. The better the graphics card you entail, the more expensive it is going to be, obviously.

We obligation some more info to give you a better answer.

I necessitate to go and brand strange computer.?

It's brand tentative, but the place I bought it from gave me the run around and won't embezzle it back. there's nil wrong with it, I a moment ago need to buy a laptop instead. I've tried ebay and adjectives that and places I've found that buy computers wont give me more than a few hundred bucks. Where can I catch a decent price for it?

I necessitate to go and brand strange computer.?

eBay should endow with you a good price, though....Oh, powerfully. You should just try finding someone who requests a new computer, and deal in it to them. You definitely won't receive the amount you paid for. The computers from a store are ALWAYS more expensive. You might grasp about 50-100 or more dollars smaller amount than what you paid. Good luck, though.

PS: Tell everyone that you can not to turn to the place you bought the computer. Stores hate losing customers.
this might not be what you want to hear...but, no situation what your going to lose money on re-selling that computer (on a good sunshine -10%...on a bad hours of daylight -60+%)...rather than doing this on e-Bxx or where on earth ever; personally I would turn back to the store and homily with the mgr..if that doesn't work write a missive to the corp. office...at the terrifically least try to obtain a store credit so you can just gain the notebook you want...
