If i nouns games on my external harddrive will I be capable of play them on someone elses computer?

No. It's not setup on that person's hard drive. When you install a program, it not individual writes the info to the destination driver/directory, it also writes a whole bunch of stuff into the C:\ drive and the registry. Thus, your friend would not hold that 2nd part, and the program will fall short.

Take the CD's with you and install it over here. Delete it when you're done.
It depends on the game itself, some games will work the other won't.
If you buy into Microsoft's bull, yes. In trueness, it would depend upon lots of things. You will just enjoy to try it. Dont count on Microsoft to keep any of their promises. But do count on them to maintain Your money. You cant even return their CD once it have been open. You remove the cellophane wrap..you bought it..no refunds.
i enjoy tried this on many games and some works and some dont
You enjoy very little unsystematic, the registry on the other machine would not be set up correctly. Also if you nouns it to 2000, it's setup is only fitting for 2000, there are various differences between it and XP.
You cannot load a big activity off an external HDD the source is it cannot call up the window components and regestry files it needs to.
