The mp3 files will play fine.

The more noteworthy issue is how to move them. If you want to move them to another HD to be attached to the PC, you need to format the other HD as FAT32 so the Mac can read and write to it. The Mac cannot write to an NTFS formatted disk.

Another opportunity might be to network the two computers and move the files over. You can move them straight to the PC external drive, which can be formatted any bearing you want.

move one an see.
I would guess that the files are mp3 should not make a difference if played or copied to a PC or Mac as long as the directory extension is *.mp3 in both the Mac and contained by the PC. Do you have dual O.S. on the Mac?. If so, try transferring a Mac base mp3 file to the WinXP divider, or like suggested more rapidly from the Mac to a PC.
