cpu-z tell me that my core speed is 1.6 and sometimes it goes up to 2.4... What's occurring? is this normal?
Intel Core 2 Duo e6600 at 1.6? ... Is this Normal?
The Core 2 Duo strip has Intel Enhanced Speed Step and will regulate the CPU speed base on load. This save power and generates smaller number heat.
I also hold a Core 2 Duo E6600 and its speed will go as low as 1.6GHz and the max is 2.4GHz.
