yea, you shouldn't own any problems with a dual core processor and a fully clad amount of RAM. (unless you've overstuffed your C drive)

At the moment any Dual Core is honourable for games however general rule is the faster the better. You will also stipulation a good Graphics card (go for NVidea cards as ATI suck!) also at tiniest 1GB of ram, ideally you should jump for 2GB.

Dual core either amd x2 series or intel core 2 duo series above 2GHz will be impeccably fine for gaming since games are only lately starting to use them supreme command is one of them and my amd x2 5200+ just owns it.

It's best to walk dual core now amd are pretty cheap very soon and you do get the observation most opperations like word and internet won't be effect but winzip and other crushing/compiling or rendering will appreciate it
