Is an ATI Radeon 200 video card clad for playing games?

My video card works great near all my games, but I'm thinking of upgrading it contained by the future due to the reality that game requirements are becoming more and more demanding. Will my video card be angelic enough for immediately?

Is an ATI Radeon 200 video card clad for playing games?

We would need to know your other PC specs (more specifically, if the motherboard uses AGP or PCI-Express for the graphics card) to afford a proper answer, but if you had an unlimited budget, you could seize either a nVidia GeForce 8800, or an ATI Radeon 2900. Both of those are DirectX 10, which breed them ideal for vista. XP would still be awesome for them, too, though. I would recommend at most minuscule a Geforce 7600GT, or a Radeon x1800. My 7600GT is working great :)
This video card or chipset is about 3 years hoary; ancient in gamer circles.

If you do not involve it to run the games you use why upgrade? The $200 card this year will be a $100 card next year.

If you want want to run the newer games you will stipulation to upgrade your video card. Before I would recommend you spend $100 to $200 or more on a new card I would obligation to know.

What games will you want to play?

What is your CPU and CPU speed; what is your RAM?

What graphics slot do you have, PCI express X16 , AGP 4X, 8X, PCI?
