I hold window XP home editon. I can't shift into standby mode on my desktop, message S3 savage 2000 problem...

a message states: the device driver 'S3 savage 2000' device is preventing this domestic device from going into stanby mode. any help to draw from rid of this problem, Thanks.

s3 savage 2000 is your videocard check you videocard produce up driver updates of check your pc assembly wibsite for updates
1. Most likely delete and reloading your video driver will do it.

2. Go to Windows Update and see if there is an offering for an update of your video driver, download and install. Be prepaired to roll fund if there is a problem.

3. Check your PC businessman for an update. download and install. Be prepaired to roll back if in that is a problem.

4. Check your settings under Display Properties, Screensaver Tab, Power Button, and Power Options Properties, the Power Schemes and Advanced Tabs.
S3 Savage MX dualhead laptop video card or regular desktop one is what it manner. i beleive it has to be cut stale not in use check the manufactor website.
