I purely installed service pack 2 after reformatting for XP and my audio is gone...?

It say No Audio Device when I open the sounds and audio devices within the control panel, it was working fine beforehand upgrading to SP2

I an guessing the audio driver has be updated, but this version is not computable beside your hardware.



Ideally you should install the driver that came next to the sound card or motherboard, or from the relative net site.



Alternatively go to the device bureaucrat (through the control panel), right click on the icon for the nouns card and select properties, select the driver tab and clock roll back driver to use the resourceful driver.
