More knock against is always better. faster computer and smaller quantity time having the concrete drive search for files that should own already been contained by RAM.
BUT its only pious if your using big programs and gaming. if your just gonna use the computer for emailing and internet penetrating. you rather purely save your money
if u own the money, u can never have too much push
If you are running Vista it will improve activities.
If you are running XP you would be wasting your money.
What makes you ask? It really depends on what you use your Pc for and what operating system you own. Vista uses a lot of Ram due to it's 3D effects and Xp doesn't. But if you are big into Gaming or want to run some big programs I would utter yeah otherwise if you have XP don't bother. Let us know somewhat more about your application and we can tender you a better answer.
Hope it helps
1.88 is smaller amount only if u are a unwieldy computer user... like useing 3dsmax, and graphics software... and playing fatty games like medival 2 total time of war.... i am getting a new ring for my graphics software work which i will fit wid 4 gb of run into and a Quad core Q6600 2.4 ghz processor.... more ram within always better... i.e. if u use it properly... or its gonna be a wate of money
